Embark on a short yet immersive safari to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, one of Kenya’s premier wildlife destinations located on the equator in Laikipia County. Famous for its pioneering conservation efforts, Ol Pejeta is home to the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa and the only place in Kenya to see chimpanzees. It also shelters the last two remaining northern white rhinos on the planet. This conservancy offers an unmatched combination of wildlife viewing, conservation education, and scenic beauty, making it the perfect escape for nature lovers with limited time.

Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or airport.

Scenic drive through central Kenya with views of Mt. Kenya en route.

Arrive at Ol Pejeta Conservancy by late morning.

Check-in at your lodge (e.g., Sweetwaters Serena Camp or similar).

Enjoy lunch and relax at the lodge.

Embark on your first game drive within Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

Visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary (the only place in Kenya where you can see rescued chimps).

Stop by the Endangered Species Enclosure to see the last two northern white rhinos.

Return to lodge for dinner.

Optional: Night game drive (available at extra cost).

Overnight at: Ol Pejeta Conservancy Lodge

Day 2: Ol Pejeta – Nairobi

Morning game drive for a final chance to spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, rhinos, and more.

Return for breakfast at the lodge.

Optional walking safari or visit to the Rhino Information Centre (time permitting).

Check-out and begin drive back to Nairobi.

Stop for lunch en route (optional).

Drop-off at Nairobi hotel or airport in the late afternoon.
